The food is diverse and very good. Periodically, like the night I went, they have a musical group. Always a good time! Good service, good staff, and good food. A perfect tripleheader!

Phenomenal historic establishment! We're looking forward to returning again. Our hostess Fran is warm, welcoming and gracious. As is Charissa and her hardworking and efficient staff. The place itself is so cozy and peaceful. I could have spent hours learning about the Vreeland's whose artifacts and photographs were displayed all throughout. Beautifully decorated with lovely antique furniture and everything carefully thought of to keep us comfortable. The music festival was awesome! One great band after another as we enjoyed delicious food and cocktails. Try their scrumptious Bennie for breakfast! It was hard to leave. Great vibes all weekend. We feel so relaxed after staying at your beautiful place. Looking forward to coming back! Thank you so much for keeping this exquisite historic place so welcoming and authentic!

Stopped for lunch on the way back from Monksville Reservoir. Quaint old building with nice outdoor seating. The food was very good. I had the gyro chicken salad, which was enormous so I took home the leftovers for dinner. My husband had a burger and really enjoyed it. I stole some of his onion rings and they were very yummy. Our server was attentive but not overly so. For those complaining about the prices, I think prices are high everywhere nowadays and the prices here are comparable.

Nice selection of delicious food. I went there with my family and we had a delicious homemade Mac and cheese, cheese steak, a Thanksgiving wrap and a chicken sandwich. Everything had a wonderful Vreeland touch to it. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. You are basically eating dinner in an old farm house. Rustic and cozy. It was nice to eat somewhere where you can talk and actually hear each other. They also have a baked goods section and excellent coffees. I definitely going back and bringing my friends.

I really love The Vreeland Store. I have been here twice now. The first time by myself and ordered a mac 'n cheese and wine. The second time I came with a friend and we grabbed the couch in what I would call the reading room. It was a leisurely Saturday morning and Harry Potter was playing on the television. We got to hang out and sip on our coffees like we had nothing better to do. Pretty awesome. I got the chicken and donut (highly recommended!) and a mimosa. The restaurant is inside an old house so the décor is fun and there are lots of places to sit in different parts of the house. Check it out!

On a gorgeous Autumn sunny day this was a great place for lunch. I probably would never have found this place if it wasn't for a tip from a friend. This old farmhouse is so rustic and full of historic features. There are old postcards, photographs and newspaper clippings lining the walls. I'm kind of felt like I was inside someone's home. The staff was friendly. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the flatbread with chicken. It was delicious. Definitely check it out. There's plenty of parking.
